The building structures of the Iran Barkat Cove vaccine production project in Barkat Pharmaceutical City were designed and implemented with the aim of accelerating production and improving quality. The project used cold-formed steel sections (HSS) for columns and hot-rolled steel sections (IPB) for beams. In addition to increasing quality, these choices have accelerated the construction and operation time of the plant. Considering that the entire design and implementation process of this project was completed in 48 days, it was able to win the award for the best steel design of the year at the International Steel Structures Conference in Tehran.
